Long Term Carer Leave & System Behaviour

In the event that a Carer is placed on Long Term Leave (i.e. there is no End Date applied to the Leave Record) and during this Leave Term the Carer is then made “Inactive”, if in the future this Carer is then re-activated the system will continue to show this Leave Record with no End Date applied. So the Carer will be Active, but according to the system, will be still be on Leave for the original duration defined.

However, if the same scenario as outlined above occurs, but there is an End Date applied to the Leave Record, when the Carer is De-activated the system will apply the Deactivation Date as the End Date to this Leave Record.
