When a Client is switched from Active to Suspended, all future Tasks are cancelled but records of those Tasks’ Schedules will be kept on the Client’s profile. Thus, you will have the option of reactivating these cancelled Tasks if the Client is later switched back to Active.
When a Client is switched to Suspended, you will be presented with a window displaying all of the Carers who were scheduled to carry out Tasks for that Client. This window allows you to review the affected Carers and reassign them as required.
In the event that you wish to update the Client from Suspended to Active, you will have three options available to you:
§ Update Client status only
§ Update Client status, reactivate Schedules and assign original Carers back to the Tasks
§ Update Client status, reactivate Schedules, but leave the Tasks as Unassigned
If you opt to assign the original Carers and they are currently assigned to other Tasks, leading to a conflict of Schedules, you will be presented with a window displaying these conflicts, giving you the option to go ahead and assign the Carer in question (i.e. double-book) or unassign them, leaving the reactivated Schedule Unassigned for the moment.
If a Client moves from Suspended to Inactive, all of their suspended Schedules will be fully cancelled.
