To Confirm Grace Period

The To Confirm Grace Period defines the maximum allowable difference between the Scheduled Duration of a Task and the Actual Duration, whereby the system will still automatically confirm the Task for Billing. Unlike the IVR Grace Period, the To Confirm Grace Period is based solely on duration; for example, if a Task is scheduled for 09.00 to 10.00 and is actually carried out by the Carer from 12.00 to 13.00, it will still be automatically confirmed because the duration is the same. However, if the Grace Period is defined as 10% of the Scheduled Task Time and the actual duration is outside of that 10% difference (i.e. the Scheduled Duration is an Hour and the Actual Duration is half an hour) then the system will automatically set the Task to Not Confirmed and you will have to manually confirm it before it appears in Billing and Payroll.

Please Note:  The To Confirm Grace Period only concerns the confirmation of Tasks for Billing and Payroll; it does not impact the linking of IVR calls with Scheduled Tasks.
