The second type of information is called a Dimension. A Dimension is the criteria you can set against your Measure, allowing you to view different aspects of the larger count. For example, if your Measure is Client Count (which will return the Total number of Clients on the application) then you can use Dimensions to return Clients under Age brackets or by Gender.
