If you wish you can create a “Recurring Mail
Merge”. This allows you to instruction the system to automatically email
the recipient Carer list their Scheduled Tasks on a Weekly or Monthly basis.
Within the Recurrence Pattern Wizard, users can define the following criteria
for this recurring mail merge:
§ How often the Mail should be sent (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) and the range of recurrence
§ The Task Period à here you can define if this should send Future or Historical Tasks to the recipient list. We can also define the number of Weeks / Months’ worth of Tasks that will be included in the Mail Merge.

You can then define whether the Mail Merge should be Dynamic or Fixed:
Fixed à Once you have scheduled a date for the Mail Merge to be sent out and have defined the Task From and Task To dates, selecting Fixed instructs the system to only include Tasks currently assigned to the Carers (within the Task From and Task To dates) when the Mail Merge is created. So if the Mail Merge is created on Monday morning, but won’t be sent until Friday afternoon, any new Tasks assigned to the Carer between Monday and Friday (even if they fall within the Task From and Task To dates) will not appear on the Schedule.
Dynamic à Selecting Dynamic, on the other hand, instructs the system to include any new Tasks scheduled prior to the Mail Merge being sent out (as long as they fall within the Task From and Task To dates). So if you create your Mail Merge on Monday and schedule it to be sent out on Friday, but in between you assign the Carer a new Task within the Task From and Task To dates, the system will automatically update the Schedule to include this Task.
