This defines the type of body which will pay for the services (e.g. the Client’s Family, the HSE, etc). You can have several different Payer Types on the system. However, each individual Billing Chart may only have one Payer Type.

You are unable to manage the listing of Payer Types, Departments and Department Contacts; rather these are preconfigured on the application according to the requirements of each organisation. The Types that appear below are just examples for the purposes of this document. |
