Primary/Non-Primary Client

A Primary Client is a Client who is actively receiving Services from your organisation.  You can add Schedules to the Client’s Profile.

A Non-Primary Client is a Client who has been added to the application but marked as Non-Primary, meaning that you cannot add Schedules to the Client’s Profile. Rather, you can link Non-Primary Clients to a Primary Client’s Schedule so that the assigned Carer will treat both Clients during the same Task (e.g. a wife might be the Primary Client and her husband the Non-Primary).

A new Client will be automatically marked as Primary, but you can change him/her to Non-primary in the Contact screen of the Client Profile. Please see How to Make Client Non-Primary Client for details.

You can link Non-Primary Clients to a Primary Client’s Schedule on the last screen of the Scheduling Wizard: please refer to Linking Non-primary Clients to a Schedule for more details.
