Adding a Grade & Allocating a Leave Quota

To add a new Grade Lookup simply select the Grade option and click on the Add button. The Grade Lookup will open and from here you can give the Grade a name.

Once you have given the Grade a name you can then assign a quota to Leave Type(s). This is essentially assigning the number of Days / Hours a Carer is entitled to as Leave for individual Leave Types, when they are linked with this Grade on their Contract screen.

To assign the quota click on the assign quota button as illustrated.

Once you click on this button the Leave Quota screen will open and from here you can capture the number of Days / Hours, by Leave Type Carers will be entitled to receive in the event that their Contract screen is linked with this particular Grade.  

Each Grade can have multiple Leave Quota’s assigned for multiple Leave Types.

For example you may define for this one Grade that there are 21 Days entitled to Carers linked with this Grade as Holidays. There may also be 3 Days entitled to the Carers as Hospital Leave, etc.

You can capture as many different Grades on the system as you wish.
