Adding the WTE (Whole Time Equivalent)

The WTE can be described as a unit that indicates the workload of the employee. For example, An WTE of 1.0 is equivalent 100% of the Leave Quota as defined in the Grade Lookup, while an WTE of 0.5 indicates that the Profile is entitled to only 50% of the Leave Quota as defined in the Grade Lookup.

When a Carer Contract is linked with a Grade and a WTE value that has been captured on the system, their Leave Entitlement will be based on the following:

The Quota assigned to the Grade they are linked with, calculated against the WTE they are linked with. So for example, if a Carer is a Grade 1 (which has been captured as having an entitlement of 21 Days) and they are WTE of 1.0, then they will be entitled to 21 Days of Leave and this will be reflected on the Leave Tab in the Carers Profile.

Alternatively, if a Carer is a Grade 1 (which has been captured as having an entitlement of 21 Days) and they are WTE of 0.5, then they will be entitled to 10.5 Days of Leave (50% of the full time amount) and this will be reflected on the Leave Tab in the Carers Profile.
