Grade

The Grade option allows you to instruct the system to calculate the Carers Leave Entitlement based on the values defined in the Grade Lookup for the defined Leave Type. Please note the Carers must be linked with a Grade and WTE for this to calculate correctly. Linking a Carer to a Grade is explained in the following section of this document: Linking the Grade and WTE to Carer Profile.

The Grade option will only calculate Carers Leave Entitlement accurately if the following is in place.

§  Grades have been configured on the Application (done via Lookups > Grades)

§  WTE’s have been configured on the Application (done via Lookups > WTE)

§  This Grade and WTE must be linked with the Carers Profile (done via the Carer Contract screen)

The first thing we must do is the Add a Grade to the Application in the Lookups tab in the Maintenance module.
