Hiding Tasks

Once a Captured Attendance appears on the Task Attendance screen, it will remain here until you link it with a Scheduled Task or create a Standalone Task.

That being said, there may be cases where you do not wish to link a Captured Attendance with a Scheduled Task.  You can choose to leave such Captured Attendances on the screen indefinitely, and, furthermore, to hide them so that they won’t obscure other search results.

To do this, simply select the relevant Captured Attendance and click the Hide Selected Attendance button, as illustrated in the screenshot above.

Once hidden, these Captured Attendances will not appear in future search results. However, you can perform a search of hidden attendances by clicking Show only hidden Attendance, as shown in the same screenshot.

Helpful Hints – Task Attendance Screen Tips

1)       Using the Filtering Client/Carer Tasks allows you to see all Scheduled Tasks for this Client/Carer and quickly link inconsistencies.

2)    We would advise you to review this screen every morning when carrying out your Monitoring duties, so that you can quickly spot any inconsistencies from the previous day’s workload and amend them.  This will save you having to go through every Task on the Plan Board that has a Delayed status.

3)    It is also a good idea to check the Task Attendance screen throughout the day with the objective of keeping the Captured Attendance pane empty. When Captured Attendances do appear, tidy them up by linking them to Scheduled Tasks or creating Standalone visits.

4)    In the case of an Emergency Non-Scheduled Client Task, use the Task Attendance screen to create a Standalone Task and ensure that it is sent to the To Confirm screen where you will be able to confirm it as usual for Billing & Payroll.
