Once you have selected the Carer to assign to the Client Schedule you can indicate if these should be considered “Shadowing Hours”. Shadowing Hours refer to hours scheduled, whereby one Carer is effectively “Shadowing” another Carer – this could be done for training purposes when a new Carer joins an organisation.
The main impact Shadowing Hours have is that the Hours
worked, once completed and confirmed, will be included in Payroll Runs, but not
included in Billing or Invoicing. So once a Carer is marked as Shadowing, these
worked hours will not be billable.
