Billing Prerequisites

§  Client Schedules must be correctly added to the application– see

§  Creating a Schedule

§  Client Schedules must be Assigned to a Carer– see Assign a Carer to Client Schedule

§  Billing Charts must be configured on the application– see Billing Charts

§  Billing Charts must be added to every single Schedule, even where the same Client has more than one Schedule– see Define Billing Information

§  Tasks must have a status of Completed or Cancelled but Send to Billing for them to be included in Billing. Tasks can be completed in any of the following ways (see Plan Board):

§  Automatically

§  Manually by the user

§  By the Carer using the IVR system

§  Tasks must be have a status of Billing Confirmed for them to be included in Billing. Please refer to the

§  To Confirm section of this document for full details. Tasks can be confirmed:

§  Automatically (this happens when Task has been completed and the duration is as was defined in the Schedule– there configurable grace period also applied)

§  Manually (in cases where the actual duration of the Task differs to that of the scheduled duration, the Task must be manually confirmed via the application)

Once Tasks have been Completed and Confirmed, you will be able to generate an invoice which will include those Tasks.
